Beyoncé Giselle Knowles
Beyonce Giselle Knowles was conceived in
Houston, Texas on September 4, 1981. Her mother, Tina Knowles Lawson creates
their sparkling costumes and her father, Mathew Knowles manages Destiny's
Child. Solange as well as her sister (they're four years apart) has released
her debut album. She dances alongside her larger sister at DC-3 concerts.
Beyonce is of Louisiana Creole and African descent. Whitney Houston found her
and her group. Lovefool by The Cardigans is one of her favourite songs. The
item she wears most often is a pair work boots made of metallic. She writes
& produces many of the group's tunes that have been hit singles, such
as "Jumpin Jumpin", "Bootylicious", "Nasty Girl",
"Independent Women", "Happy Face" and "Apple Pie a la
mode". Lead singer of the group Destiny's Child. As an opening act, she
was on tour together with Christina Aguilera (2000). TLC was their opening

organized a South African AIDS benefit concert. The purpose was to fight the

Her father, Mathew, is of African-American descent. Tina, her mother, is
Louisiana Creole. She has ancestors that are mostly African and French. They
also have Canadian relatives. Beyonce is also 1/32 Irish and has distant Breton
and Spanish, Indonesian and Chinese roots. According to some sources, she
developed a stage persona named "Sasha" to overcome her shyness.
