Aisha Hinds is an American actor best famous for her role in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her first appearance in 2003 she has proven her versatility in acting by providing outstanding performances on television series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 as well as Under the Dome. The role she played as a character in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the very first role to attract her interest. But it was her role as the women's rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer in the biographical film All the Way that finally brought her recognition as an actor.
