Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching (born March 28, 1977) is an American actor who is known for her part as Renee Walker in the American television show 24 and also for her voice work and motion capture for the character Tess in Naughty Dog's video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born and was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She attended high school at Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis where she graduated in 1995. She competed in Irish dance during her youth and was part of the St. Louis Celtic Dancers. She holds earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in musical theatre from Millikin University, graduating in 1999. Wersching began her acting career with a guest appearance on the television show Star Trek: Enterprise, and then moved to guest starring roles on shows like Charmed, Killer Instinct, Supernatural as well as Cold Case. From March to November 2007 she was the main character of Amelia Joffe on the ABC Daytime soap series General Hospital. In addition, she has worked in theatres such as Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and the Utah Shakespearean Festival.Wersching was FBI Special Agent Renee Walker in the seventh and eighth seasons of 24.After her two-season run on 24 Wersching played guest roles on a variety of shows that included CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli & Isles, Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which stars the co-star of 24 Kiefer Sutherland). 2014 saw her as a regular series character on Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime drama Bosch. Wersching played catcher for the National League during the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends, Celebrity Softball Game and 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends. Wersching also played the role in the role of Tess in The Last of Us on PlayStation 3. Geoff Keighley teased her character on Twitter before she was announced in the Spike Video Game Awards story trailer on December 7th 2012. Wersching was set to take on the role of the Borg Queen on Star Trek: Picard in September 2021.
