Riley Keough

American actor Danielle Riley Keough. Her birthplace was in Santa Monica to Danny Keough and Lisa Marie Presley. She is the granddaughter of Elvis Presley, actress, and singer. Keough was raised in Hawaii by her father, and in Los Angeles by her mother. Keough also spent time in California and Tennessee with her mother. At the age of 15 she began modeling. She was in Dolce & Gabbana's fashion shows, Christian Dior's, and on Vogue's cover. Keough made her debut on film at the age of 20 as a support character in the musical biopic The Runaways (2010), as Marie Currie. After The Good Doctor (2011), she starred in Jack & Diane (2012). Then she was cast in Magic Mike (2012), the film was a minor role for Steven Soderbergh’s comedy film Magic Mike (2012). In 2012, Keough appeared in Yellow and Kiss of the Damned. She was then in the action movie Mad Max: Fury Road (2015). This was the fourth installment of the Mad Max series. In 2016, Keough had her breakthrough role as a law student-turned-escort in the first season of the anthology series The Girlfriend Experience, executive-produced by Soderbergh and based on his 2009 film of the same name. The performance was praised by the critics and received nominations for the Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a TV Limited Series or Motion Picture. Keough's following performance as a wayward young woman in the drama American Honey (2017) earned an even greater amount of praise and an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Supporting Female. The same year, Keough played the lead in the apocalyptic-themed horror film It Comes at Night (2017) and then reunited with Soderbergh to play a role in his heist movie, Logan Lucky. Keough followed that with roles in a variety of thrillers and horror movies in 2018, including Lars von Trier's The House That Jack Built and the neo-noir film Under the Silver Lake, and Hold the Dark. Keough played the lead character in The Lodge, a psychological horror movie. Zola is Keough's comedy-drama sequel. Keough is the character Sandy Harrison, Netflix's 2020 release The Devil All the Time.
