Big Time Rush
Big Time Rush, an American pop group was
formed in the year 2009. The group is comprised of Kendall Schmidt and James
Maslow as well as Logan Henderson and Carlos PenaVega. They initially signed
with Nick Records in 2009. Then, Columbia Records transferred them to their new
label. They appeared in Nickelodeon's telecast series, Big Time Rush. From
November 28, 2009 until July 25 2013 the show was on air. The premiere episode
introduced the group's debut promotional single, "Big Time Rush". The
band released three studio albums, BTR in 2010, Elevate , and 24/7 in 2013. In
2014, the group was on a hiatus that lasted up to 2021. They returned to live
performances in the studio and released "Call It Like It's Like It's
Looking". Nickelodeon has signed Big Time Rush to an album deal in the
year 2009, along with its tv show, Big Time Rush. Nickelodeon was then joined
by Columbia/Epic Label Group in order to develop the show and also provide
original music. The debut single, "Big Time Rush" was featured on the
show on the 29th of November, 2009. The announcement was made by Nickelodeon
the series first broadcast in the U.S. in November 2009 up until the time it
was launched worldwide. It debuted during a preview of the show. The theme is
currently the show's theme. The promotional singles were also made available by
the show, which included "City is Ours" (with Big Time Rush) and
"Any Kind of Guy". Big Time Rush covered "Famous" by Play.
The song came out on iTunes on June 29th 2010. Another track, "Halfway
There", was released to iTunes on April 27, 2010 following its premiere on
the show. The band soon became their first charting track on the Billboard Hot
100. It hit 93 on the list thanks to digital sales. The second single by Big
Time Rush, "Till You Forget About You", was released on the 21st of
September in 2010. It was released in order to promote the release of their
debut album. On October 11, 2010, the album, called BTR, was made available to
the public. It debuted at number three on the Billboard 200. It sold an initial
67,000 copies.
