Emma Stone

Emily Jean "Emma" Stone was born on the 6th of November, 1988 in Scottsdale, Arizona to Krista Jean Stone (nee Yeager), a homemaker , and Jeffrey Charles "Jeff" Stone, a contractor company founder and CEO. She has Swedish and British Isles roots. Stone started acting in the ages of a child, as a member of the Valley Youth Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona, where she made her stage debut in a production of Kenneth Grahame's "The Wind in the Willows". She was in a variety of productions during her early teens until, at 15 years old, she made the choice to pursue acting as a profession. According to the official report she performed a PowerPoint slide show that was supported by the Madonna's Hollywood and was dubbed "Project Hollywood" in an effort to persuade her parents to let her to drop out of school and relocate to Los Angeles. The pitch was successful and she and her mother relocated to LA with her schooling completed at home. There she would spend the day auditioning. She had her TV breakthrough when she won the role of Laurie Partridge in the VH1 talent/reality show In Search of the Partridge Family (2004) that led to a number of smaller TV roles over the following years. Her movie debut was as Jules in Superbad (2007) and following a string of successful performances, her leading part in the film Olive in Easy A (2010) established her as a leading actress. In Phoenix, Arizona, she went to Xavier College Preparatory. While she is famous as a redhead her true shade is blonde. Judd Apatow was the one who suggested she change her hair's color to match Superbad (2007). The film was so well received that she decided to keep it. At age 15, she persuaded her parents to allow her to go to Hollywood by creating the PowerPoint presentation appropriately titled Project Hollywood. She began acting at the age of 11 years old at Phoenix's Valley Youth Theatre. Here she appeared on 16 stages. She also performed in the comedy improv troupe of the theatre. Caylee Cowan was also a part of the Valley Youth Theatre.
